Ullswater Garder Group have two meetings on Tuesday 20th February:

Lynn Brunetti 2-4pm is talking about 'Vengeful Vegetation' and she has an activity planned after refreshments. Lyn taught horticulture for many years at Newton Rigg and more recently at Lowther Castle; as well as working as head gardener at Warnell Hall.

Entrance £4 includes tea, coffee and cake.

Helen Rebanks 7-8pm

Author of 'A Farmer's Wife' will be talking about her book.

Followed by refreshments. Come along and bring a friend. This meeting is open to anyone who is interested.

Can you help one of our neighbours with these lovely horses? Please reply directly to Rachel:

Hi, I'm looking for a field to rent for my three horses who currently live in Watermillock. I am sadly having to move them from their current field, but would really love to keep them in the area, and more importantly keep them together. If there is anyone who has a field that they would be willing to rent to me, please get in touch, or if you have any contacts of others with land in the area, I would really appreciate any help.
They are very low maintenance horses, so I'm not looking for a place with stables, literally just a field where I can visit at my own free will and have some privacy to spend lots of time with the horses every day.

Thank you to everyone who supported the craft fair last month - much needed funds for the village hall and £315 donated to Hospice at Home from the Watermillock Craft Group.

We welcome new people to the hall - and to the committee - not onerous and good fun!
