So, since our very successful ’getting to know your Camper’ session this weekend, we’ve been inundated with enquiries as to us running another one soon.
We usually offer one at the start of the season as this tends to be when sales of camper’s picks up. However, due to the numerous requests, we are considering offering another course on the weekend of the 4/5th July.
This will be limited to TEN vans to enable us to give each owner/s some useful one-to-one contact time, as well as group info session with lots of Q&A’s.

This will be on a first come, first served basis and will be held at Mains Farm, Kirkoswold, Penrith, and advance booking by us is essential.

You can extend your visit before and/or after if you wish.

The cost is £73 per VAN, inc camping and hook-up.

As a pro converter, with time served Electrical & Electronics Engineers on the team, we see this all too often when a van comes in for a ‘can you sort out why my ‘X/Y/Z’ isn’t working?’ 😫.

Sadly, there are self builders out there that get their ‘expert’ instructions and how-to info from YouTube ‘experts’. We really wish they didn’t!

So, can you identify ANY issues in this picture? Most pro converters don’t need to answer 😉👍🏻

Well… that’s a wrap!

The second of our ‘getting to know your Campervan’ sessions has ended, seeing all of the owners gaining confidence to go out camping on their own knowing that they survive a trip away 👍🏻.

There was a complete mix of vehicle types and individual ‘needs’ to go through, but everyone had time for a personal ‘look over’ of their van and its associated features. Boxers, Crafters & transporters, fixed roofs, pop tops, wind out awnings and drive away air awnings made for an interesting event.

We hope each person has taken something away with them that answered their questions, given them some useful tips and reassured them that their vans suit their needs.

The owners had various use case scenarios, from a single night ‘wild’ camping, a full week offgrid at festivals and ‘standard’ campsite camping.

Did you miss out this time? Do you want reassurance that your van is safe & suitable? Are you scared of the electric or gas side the van? Keep a look out for our next session.

Many will argue, but £500 for a crimp tool is a necessary expense if you want to KNOW that your cables aren’t going to cause fires down the line.

Sadly, we’ve seen YouTube ‘experts’ using pliers to make their cable terminations 😳.

Our Getting To Know Your Van course is just around the corner: meeting 12pm Sat 30th May, leaving 11am (or before) Sun 31st May.

Maximum of x10 Campervans (only 5 spaces available now!), so make sure to book soon!
