Here’s another bespoke roof rack almost ready to install on a customer’s Crafter - we’re just waiting for the awning LED strip to arrive tomorrow.

I must admit, we much prefer the rugged look to these tubular aluminium racks over the flat pack ones, but it’s definitely down to the individual.

✅Includes welded mounts for Ledson LED lights front & rear

✅Roof deck with L Track lashing/accessory points

Unlike the flat pack racks, these need collecting from our HQ near Penrith, but that means that we offer FREE fitting of the rack (lighting/wiring/switching added cost to the install.

Another of our XPS insulated, CNC cut floor kits goes out into a customer’s van.

As well as being perfectly shaped (and with insulation), using this is a perfect way to mark and cut your floor coverings for that ‘pro’ appearance.

Ever question why some companies charge ‘a bit too much’, in your mind?
Ever think ‘I can go to XYZ and it’ll be much cheaper!’
Well, NOT all installers are made equal!

This is how a ‘company’ installed a diesel heater! They cut a hole in the van floor, instead of lowering the fuel tank… drilled a hole in the tank and pushed some copper brake pipe in as the fuel feed! The customer noticed poor fuel economy and a diesel smell 😫.

We do not cut corners on any of our work, so when you think you will ‘get it cheaper elsewhere’, please think carefully.

Need an Eberspacher heater fitted in your van (we know it’s the last thing you’re thinking of right now 🤣), drop us a line and get it installed BEFORE you need it.

LIFEPO4…

If you have an older LiFePo4 battery you should regularly check your battery ‘capacity’. To do this, you need to look in the app for that battery.
We’ve tested a 300ah battery over the last 2.5 years and noticed the ‘capacity’ reducing much faster than the advertised reduction. In fact, this reputable battery now tops out at 162ah - a loss of almost HALF!
The reason for this is the lack of ‘cell balancing’ that is now within most of the latest reputable batteries.
The individual cell voltages of this battery are a long way apart from, meaning that the BMS will stop allowing charge once one of the cells reaches its max rated voltage, potentially leaving the other 3 (12.8v battery) failing to reach full charge.
This ‘can’ be overcome with slowly increasing your mains charger voltage over a period of weeks (with your battery out of the van!).
Another way would be to speak to your supplier to see if they can/will install a cell balancer into the internals, thus prolonging the capacity whilst in use.
Keep an eye on yours - you don’t want to be out of charge when you’re needing it most!
