LOST KEYS!!

Has anyone seen a Skoda key with a Cumbria Suzuki keyring on it and a single silver door key one of our customers has lost a key like the one pictured (it’s doesn’t have the green ribbon on though) she thinks between the garage and the co-op but she did also go to the doctors if you have found one you can drop it off at the garage and we will reunite it with its owner

😬 this one’s been a challenge, car came in with left indicator stuck on solid and various other electrical issues. After checking the basics we had our suspicions so set to and removed the dash.
We expected to find some wiring damage but definitely not on this scale! A short circuit has caused wiring to get very very hot which has melted and damaged approximately 30 other wires! The owner has been very luck it didn’t go up in flames.
With this been a older car no looms are available so time to get out the soldering iorn and the rolls of wire

This is what I love about been a independent village garage, the variety. In this picture we have Ruben fitting a rear suspension arm in a jaguar, me replacing a timing belt kit on a lotus Elise and Brian fabricating and welding in some repair section to the chassis on a Jimny. Meanwhile toms in the other bay refitting a cylinder head to a focus. Jobs big to small it’s all happening

It’s coming up to Easter time which means we will be closed for a week!
We will close Thursday 2nd of April until Monday 13th of April

As we get closer to Christmas we would just like to remind our customers we will be closed for the festive period for a well earned break. We are filling up fast and have VERY limited availability for 2025!
This year we will close on Tuesday 23rd of December until Monday 5th January
We would like to wish all our customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

The weather is awful comfort food is definitely needed luckily shap playgroup have a pie and pudding night tonight so you don’t need to cook. Local businesses have provided pies and the mums (and dads) have been busy making puddings.
