28 weeks after the accident and I was facing an operation to repair my spine, I have now been told my vertibrea has started to heel itself. Thank god. I am still waiting to see if the metal work on my ribs can stay in or if it needs to be removed.

When life f***s you for the second time in 3 months. I have now got shingles on top of trying to recover from the accident. If you don't know, shingles attacks the nerves in a certain area. Unfortunately its attacking the area of the my injuries so the pain is back to what it was 10 weeks ago. So here we go again.

I am sure I saw a half empty box of this in the operation room after they fixed some of my ribs

I'm now back home, thank god. Now quite a few weeks of recuperation to try and mend all these broken bones

It time not only to hang up my bootbut through the away I had a little off at the weekend ending with a stay in Southampton hospital but not sure how long for. Now let me begin.
3 or 4 broken ribs on right hand side
11 out of 12 on left broken, 4 or 5 shattered
Broken shoulder blade in 3 pieces
Deflated lung on left
And some small fractures to spine
I bit my tongue aswell.
Now a long way to recovery.
