That's another 505 Nationals in the books.

Hayling delivered a proper championship. Around 80 boats, plenty of shifts, plenty of passing lanes and two days where nothing came easy.

It was great to see so many P&B sails out there, with a lot of crews right at the front of the fleet. Huge congratulations to Howard Hamlin and Andy Zinn on taking the National Championship.

Well sailed to everyone who made the trip.

Round the Island is nearly here.

Cowes is starting to fill up, boats are arriving every day, and there's a good chance the weather will throw a bit of everything at us before the weekend's over.

If you're making the trip over and still need to sort your kit, we've got the Cowes store fully stocked.

Whether it's a fresh pair of boots, a new set of gloves, or finally replacing that waterproof that's seen one too many seasons, we've got you covered.

Pop in and see us before heading to the start line. Good luck to everyone racing, we'll see you on the Island.

The loft floor is filling with Fireball sails, all heading off ready for the World Championships in Torbay.

There's always a good buzz when Worlds are just around the corner. Boats are getting fettled, trailers are being loaded and everyone's convinced they've finally found that extra bit of boatspeed over the winter.

We'll be keeping a close eye on the racing, especially our own Dave Wade and Iain Blake, who put together a great 5th place at last year's Worlds. Fingers crossed they can go a few places better this time.

Safe travels to everyone making the trip. See you in Torbay.

Congratulations to Ewen Barry and Thea Barry on becoming the 2026 Fireball Irish National Champions at Howth Yacht Club. 🏆

Winning 5 of the 9 races across a weekend that delivered everything from light and tricky conditions to fantastic sea-breeze racing is a remarkable achievement.

A special mention to Thea, who at just 15 years old must surely be one of the youngest sailors ever to claim the title.

It's particularly rewarding for our team to see a boat package that started the season with a new boat, new sails and a completely fresh setup perform so well after months of preparation and hard work behind the scenes.

Most importantly, though, this result comes down to the sailors. Ewen and Thea sailed an outstanding championship and thoroughly deserved the win.

Congratulations also to all competitors who took part in a challenging and highly competitive event, and to Howth Yacht Club for delivering a fantastic championship.

With just over three weeks to go until the Fireball Worlds, the team at P&B are deep in preparation mode. The hard work of sail development is behind us. The designs are locked, tested, and ready to perform. From here, the outcome rests firmly on the skill, judgement, and nerve of the sailors who step onto the water.

Alongside the racing programme, the P&B team has turned its attention to making sure competitors are fully supported throughout the event. An extensive range of spares is being assembled, covering every critical component a crew might need on and off the water.

A huge congratulations to all the Fireball sailors who took on Hayling Island's famously testing conditions this weekend.

We're especially pleased to see our sails taking the top three spots overall:

🥇 DJ Edwards & Vyv Townend
🥈 Paul Cullen & Simon Forbes
🥉 Dave Wade & Iain Blake

A special mention to DJ and Vyv, who recently switched to a new set of our Fireball sails featuring the latest design developments we've been working on. After winning every race they sailed, we're delighted to see the hard work paying off and even more delighted to hear how happy they are with the new setup.

Well sailed to everyone who made it through a weekend of big breeze, big waves and plenty of stories to tell.

A fantastic weekend on the water for Keith Louden and Mateo Louden, taking 5 wins from 6 races in their GP14. 🏆

With some challenging conditions throughout the event, the pair put together an impressive and consistent series to come out on top.

We're delighted to see them enjoying success with their P&B sails and wish them the very best for the rest of the season.

The Merlin class visited Starcross YC last weekend in conditions that tested everyone. A heatwave and barely enough wind to fill a sail made for a long, patient couple of days on the water where reading the shifts counted for far more than boat speed.

Chris Gould and Sophie Mackley took the overall win from Caroline Gould and Pete Nicholson in second, with Mike and Jane Calvert third. Both Gould/Mackley and Gould/Nicholson were on P&B sails, as were race team members Tom Lonsdale and Emily Batterton who finished sixth. In those kinds of conditions, the sailing has to do the heavy lifting.

Congratulations to all.

Oliver Goodhead and Katie Keith took all three races at the GP14 Travellers Series at Tamworth Sailing Club earlier this month, racing in what sounded like a better day on the water than the forecast promised.

Three from three in a mixed travelling fleet is a solid afternoon's work. Oliver and Katie were racing on P&B sails. Congratulations to both and all that competed.
