Crick Wharf Marina

Crick Wharf Marina Secluded private leisure moorings in a tranquil, offline basin with an on-site residential caretaker.

A family run, independent wharf - not to be confused with the corporately run larger Marina in Crick! Secluded private moorings in tranquil offline basin

Private moorings at Crick Wharf Marina. Berths are in an offline basin, and include three residential narrowboats. The basin's dimensions limit the lengths of boats that can be accommodated so availability can vary. Each berth is served by a tw

o-metre stub jetty - boats are moored bow or stern in, with the other end tied to an adjacent boat (albeit swinging free) - so that craft can manoeuvre more easily within the basin's confines. (This arrangement has worked successfully over many years.) There are a limited number of 230V supply posts, plus night-lit walkways and water points. Canal and River Trust maintain a disposal station for portable chemical cassette toilets nearby. Diesel & gas along with pump-out & dry dock facilities are available in Crick Marina - just 500 yards away.

It was a misty, murky evening last night at the wharf. Could hear a tawny owl very close by too πŸ¦‰πŸ₯°

We have a popular off-line leisure mooring available. This mooring is on the main line and not inside the confines of the basin.

The mooring would suit a narrowboat up to 57ft, but please be aware that due to the natural contour of the bank, your boat will most probably only touch the bank at the bow or stern. A jetty is provided for easy access and can house a storage bench or small table and chairs should you wish.

This mooring is strictly for leisure use only - you must have a leisure licence (not a continual cruiser or roving licence) and a postal address that you reside at.

Annual fee is Β£2,964 or Β£271.70 per month for a minimum of twelve months. Our fee includes secure parking for one car whilst the boat is in use, water, and CCTV security. Electric for battery charging is available, charged quarterly based on the in-built meter readings.

Please email [email protected] for further details - we will invite you to the wharf for a tour of the site and to meet our resident caretaker.

Great capture by Mick, who spotted our resident kingfisher resting on our sign 😍
