Insurance companies grade accident damaged vehicles from A through to N. A and B are write-offs. S means structurally damaged but repairable. N means non-structural damage.

As a general rule, we recommend a full service every 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. For higher mileage drivers, an interim service every six months is worth considering too.

Older vehicles and high performance cars benefit from more frequent checks - wear accumulates faster and small issues can develop quickly. Newer vehicles tend to be less demanding, but the 12 month rule still applies regardless of mileage.
