22 YEARS OLD. 200,000 MILES. STILL GOT PLENTY TO GIVE. 🔴
This lovely Paprika Red pre-facelift VW T5 1.9 TDI was in with us this morning for our exhaust & mapping combo. 💨💻
First job — old exhaust off, new one on. Done in less than 10 minutes. 🔧😎
Then it was straight onto the MAHA rolling road for the all-important pre-tune health check.
With 200k on the clock, we’re not just going to chuck a map on and hope for the best. We want to know exactly what we’re working with before making any changes.
And this is exactly why having a proper rolling road is invaluable.

Without a rolling road, you’re working with guesstimates. We can see exactly what the van is producing before tuning, how it’s behaving under load and, crucially, whether we’re happy to tune it.
Once we’d given her the PP Tuning treatment…

That’s a gain of 33 bhp and 75 Nm — not bad for a 22-year-old van with 200,000 miles under its belt!
More power, more torque and a fresh exhaust to go with it. 💪
Another pair of happy customers heading back home to Stoke-on-Trent with their T5 feeling considerably livelier than when it arrived. 🚐💨
