Acklams Motorcycles After 48 years of selling motorcycles in Harrogate we say goodbye to our Bower Road premises and look forward to our new location on the edge of killinghall.

I don't think we will be selling and repairing B.S.A TRIUMPH etc . However we will never forget those great days!!! Myself and Joel are very proud to be carrying on the Acklams name and provide a top level of service that our family has shown since taking over in 1966. With accolades of Yamaha dealer of the year and number 1 for customer care i'm sure you will agree your in safe hands. We ar

We will also have our top mechanic Neil Barlow with us , Neil has now been with us for over 20 years and is without doubt at the top of his game . Acklams Beta is growing and we’re looking for the right person to grow with us on a full-time basis.

We’re a busy family-run motorcycle dealership looking for someone who’s motivated to progress, take on responsibility and become a key part of the business as we continue to expand.

This isn’t just a standard day-to-day role. It’s a genuine opportunity for the right person to develop, grow and help move Acklams Beta forward.

The role will involve:
✅ Motorcycle sales
✅ Ordering parts & accessories
✅ Dealing with phone calls and customer enquiries
✅ Social media & website uploads
✅ Assisting customers in the showroom
✅ Stock deliveries

We’re looking for someone who:
✅ Has a good attitude & strong work ethic
✅ Is confident speaking to customers
✅ Is organised, reliable and motivated
✅ Wants to learn and improve
✅ Has an interest in motorcycles
✅ Has an understanding of social media
✅ Holds a full UK driving licence

Experience in the trade is a bonus, but personality, drive and willingness to learn are just as important to us.
