There’s something special about days like this…

Sewerby Hall, surrounded by timeless metal, stories etched into paintwork, and people who just get it. From the curves of a classic Alfa to the rally bred soul of a Subaru, every car had a story and every owner a reason.

Today felt like more than just a show. It felt like belonging.

We’re proud to now officially be part of the East Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club. After years of attending events, admiring from the outside, we’ve finally stepped into the circle. And it feels right.

Because Automotive Romance has always been about this. The people, the passion, the shared understanding that these cars are never just machines.

Not polished. Not restored to perfection. Just honest.

This Land Rover has never tried to be anything other than what it was built for. You can see it in every mark on the paint, every crease in the canvas, every detail that has simply carried on… doing its job.

It has known early mornings, muddy tracks, cold starts and long days. It has worked, endured, and stayed loyal to the hands that guided it.

This was always the dream.
An original 1964–66 Mustang.

After owning the newer version, the heart wanted the real thing. The sound, the shape, the feeling only an original can give. This 1966 Mustang became part of everyday life, always garaged, always cared for, and proudly used alongside an American themed bar to represent everything the owner loves about American culture.

Now it is time for the car to move on to its next journey, carrying that story with it.
