A customer had "a mate" help him out & actually making things worse.
Fuel pumps come in 2 types. One uses a longer push rod the other doesn't.
You can guess what's happened here...

FOR SALE: 1967 Manta Ray beach buggy. I have just done some work on the brakes & steering so now drives really nice. A very well put together buggy. Selling with no engine, but can be road tested before I remove it.
