Thanks to everyone who came along and helped make The Annual Ferrymill Charity Golf Day a Success yet again. We are delighted to announce that, through your generosity, the company has Managed to raise £3,000 for a good cause.

Unfortunately, we have all been battered again by a team captained by the ever improving, back to back champ Romy McCahill.

As always, a Big thanks to Allan and the team at Dougalston for accommodating us and for all the work that they have put in behind the scenes to make our day a success.

This Enviro 400 DD recently visited the specialists at Ferrymill Motors for a bit of a facelift.

After visiting every department within our workshop, we think our teams extensive hard work has paid off and got this one looking good as new.

The Beatles, The Spice Girls, The Incredibles, Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated. They are all okay, but no match for our favourite quintet right here at Ferrymill Motors.

Yesterday these sophisticated young men were given a rare early finish to get up the road, clean the paint out from behind their ears and dust the cataloy out their hair in preparation for their big Graduation Day. Don’t they scrub up nice.

A big thank you to GTG for facilitating the apprenticeships as always, and hosting this brilliant event allowing them to celebrate their big day in style.

Modern Apprenticeships have been an integral part of the Ferrymill enterprise over the years and we are very proud to add this group to a long roster of men that we have trained.

Congratulations again guys, you’ve earned it 🫡

Throwback Thursday!

Today we are throwing it back to our humble beginnings. It may lack the abundance of space and equipment that we possess today, but the old building did have its own unique charm.

The old brick walls, nestled in the middle of a green country backdrop, overlooked by the stunning Campsie hills, really were a sight for sore eyes. Who knows, if it still stood today, we could be operating an Accident Repair Centre/Wedding Venue.

Luckily, management went with the less romantic option, and built new Ferrymill Motors, where we can better focus on our real speciality; Buses.

However some of our work has still been known to incite tears of joy 😉

It was a joy to work on this Volvo EvoSeti Double Decker with its unique and eye catching metallic emerald green and silver livery. J M B Travel are the latest family run business that our talented team of tradesmen have given 110% in to providing them with the best result possible and we hope you are happy with how it turned out.
