The MAN from topline solutions in Southampton

that’s right !! Even the boys from the other end of the country know where to come to get a job done properly πŸ˜ŒπŸ‘¨β€πŸ”§πŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ ΏπŸ’ͺ🏻

It was brought into us for a cooling system failure after having previously had a compressor fitted

We got to diagnosing the problem and quickly learned the head and liners were the problem

The engine was wiped out and sent away to our good friends for a full rebuild and what an extensive repair it was πŸ˜”

Not to worry it arrived back on a pallet looking fresh like it was just out the factory

We got to installing some new components on the engine before we squeezed it back into the chassis rails

A full service and coolant flush carried out

An extended road test to make sure all systems go tick βœ…

She was away back to Tony and the boys to make some money back πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜¬

Another Fix My Truck Online πŸ«±πŸ»β€πŸ«²πŸΌπŸ˜Š

We had a call late of a Friday afternoon a kind lady from S&G plant hire asked us for some assistance

They had a vehicle in the services but unfortunately the services had ran dry of diesel and the driver was unable to continue his journey home πŸ« πŸ™„πŸ«€

Definitely not the most difficult of jobs but a priority all the same ! 🚨

We jumped into action taking 100 odd litres of fuel with us and getting the man topped up and finally on route home after a hard week grafting

Again what a valuable service that has been created by Pete 🫑

an exception was made and we got to work tearing it apart

A terrible idea but not a bad job at all πŸ‘¨β€πŸ”§

All genuine Ford parts used

We were called by the GTG to attend one of their vehicles in Edinburgh

Once on scene we quickly diagnosed the fault as a faulty steering box badly leaking fluid and very difficult to turn

Not what you want while learning to drive πŸ›ž

The vehicle was placed on the VOR list and booked in for repair πŸ‘¨β€πŸ”§

Here’s a Version 3 volvo πŸ‘€ of the Johnstone brothers that they had recovered into us as it would not select gears

With the box out and the lid off it was found a selector shaft had snapped in there

A new clutch & 3x new U/J’s saw this old girl back fighting fit and ready to lick tar another day πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜Š
