Big changes here at Learn Drive Go!
When I first started my journey to become a driving instructor in 2019 it was down to my passion for helping other people who struggled to understand things that I could.
After 5 years of being on the road with all types of students including:
- Naturally gifted young students who would only need to see how things are done once
- Mature adults that want to tick driving off their bucket list
- My neurodiverse students and those with crippling anxiety.
My highest job satisfaction has come when working with people who need that little extra help. Over the last few years this has sent me down the rabbit hole of understanding how different people think and what learning strategies work for neurodiverse students. I also focus on using calming techniques to help anxious learners take control and build confidence.
For these reasons I'm delighted to be switching from teaching manual driving lessons to automatic lessons!
I'm now starting over and need to fill my diary with learners who wish to learn automatic transmission.
