🔋 EV Tuning, Something different to the usual
The Porsche Taycan is already a seriously fast car in all variants however there's more to it-
For example, this 2023 GTS starts out at 598bhp but utilises the same hardware as the turbo variant, the only difference between these models is software. Therefore we can extract an additional 200bhp from just a recalibration of the ECU

What's even more incredible is the 2024+ 4S PBS+ (598 bhp stock) runs the newer motors which allows us to gain an additional 340bhp and a further 350nm!
Giving a total output of 940bhp / 1000nm🤯

This software is available on all Audi Etron GT / RS and Taycan models - 2025+ onward is currently in development and will be available within the coming weeks.

The “incredible” ingenium engine 🫩 The owner came to us initially with the vehicle suffering from reduced power and intermittent cutting out, all with all with only one fault code present - a single inlet temperature sensor fault, which from our experience wouldn’t cause the issues presented.

Firstly we took a read of the ECU to check if it had previously been tuned, or altered in any way.
Surely enough a large selection of DTCs (faults) had been masked in the software, coupled with DPF functionality disabled, Nothing we didn’t expect, although one major oversight by whoever did it; the physical DPF was still in place 🤦‍♂️ blocked completely now and backing up exhaust gasses to the point of
blowing through the manifold and turbo gaskets.

A dangerous solution to a problem that could have been easily rectified initially. The ECU constantly monitors exhaust pressure and temperature to calculate the conditions of the DPF, if these functions are removed with the DPF still physically in the vehicle then temperatures and pressures rapidly rise, with the ECU oblivious to these conditions.

The solution - Gaskets replaced, new turbo fitted, DPF functionality reinstated into the software, along with a thorough clean of the inlet, EGR , DPF and a static regen for good measure
Now it’s back to how it should be, smoke free, and 180bhp consistently.

DPF and EGR solutions require physical AND Software modifications, be mindful of cheap quick fixes as these can sometimes escalate into a costly mistake, masking fault codes without the knowledge of what the fault is for can also lead to catastrophic failure of components and or the engine.

2023 Volkswagen MK8 GTi Clubsport
With 300bhp and 400nm torque as stock these are little underwhelming, not slow, but by modern standards they’re lacking.

With our software we can extract an additional 100bhp and 120nm safely on 98RON fuel, all while maintaining stock drive-ability.

This particular car made 405bhp and 522nm, with no hardware modifications whatsoever, just our software.
