Two Dpf’s replaced this week from Psa / Ford platform vehicle that are Equipped with the Eolys / Pats fluid system
( Eolys /Pats Fluid is a cerium-based fuel additive used in diesel vehicles equipped with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) to lower the temperature required to burn off trapped soot )
Unfortunately both Dpf’s found to be beyond economical repair
We can supply oe quality units at a fraction of the cost of manufacturers new units
Both Dpf’s replaced pats system repair carried out along with manufacturers specific software updates
Emissions tests carried out successfully
Both vehicles Mot’d awaiting collection by customers

Images of the second Job we have undertaken on behalf of a uk based front line emergency care provider
Later Sofim Engines commonly found in the Fiat Ducato vehicle range
Job number one was a relatively straight forward seized injector removal and rebuild with all new oe components
Job number two was a bit more challenging as the previous repairs failed at the “ first hurdle “ to remove one seized injector resulting in catastrophic damage to the cam housing 🤷🏻‍♂️
Our brief was to remove the remaining injectors to enable cam housing removal to ascertain any damage that may have been caused
Remaining injectors removed ✔️
Cam housing removed ( unfortunately replacement required ) ❌
Cylinder head removed for some machining at our go to machine shop ✔️

Surely the correct clamp would have been the correct fix

2020 in with us for suspected passenger front DRL fault
A bit longer than normal correctly diagnosing this fault as the genuine replacement head light unit are really expensive
Diagnostic / interactive testing with specific component actuation with oe diag proved the fault to be within the head light unit
New oe unit sourced overnight
Fitted - tested ready for the Mot

2015 2.2 Transit fwd Recovered into us @ Asc on recommendation from one of our network members
Vehicle showed erratic idle , loss of power with a prominent diesel “rattle “
First thought was it sounded like a typical Denso injector fault
Initial Diag and interactive tests showed no faults codes ! All injector correction vales within spec the only anomaly was fuel temp sensor showing a default value of -37 degrees
Component test showed the temp sensor had failed
Replacement oe sensor sourced same day , installed
After a short road test all ok

Just a quick heads up about -Giving free technical advice over the phone
The amount of phone call we receive daily is becoming intolerable

That then transforms into
