Sitting in the hamlet of Ford, this popular 16th

Century Inn is renowned for its excellent menu, serving fresh local produce and fine Donnington Ales.

2013 & 2016 gained a certificate of excellence from Trip Advisor being judged as within top ten performing businesses worldwide. The area holds everything for appreciators of the countryside as well as a rich and diverse cultural and sporting heritage. Jackdaws Castle racehorse trainers in directly opposite, and The Plough is popular with many famous jockeys and trainers. If you like walking, there are some fine walks, with a stunning view of the gallops. Cycling, fishing and golf are also located in the near vicinity. The Plough was indeed voted Racing pub of the year in 2008. The Plough has three bed & breakfast rooms. You will love the stunning views over the glorious Cotswold countryside. There is a large sunny garden with a children's' play area. Your dogs are welcome on lead in the garden. The Plough celebrates the major Cheltenham racing events. Cheltenham Gold Cup week is a huge event where the Plough has a large marquee, serving breakfasts and all day meals, whilst you can watch the racing on large flat screen TVs. We are always busy, so booking is highly recommended.

It’s a super sunny Bank Holiday Weekend. Today full menu served from midday until 9pm, with bar 12 - Close.
Wonderful play area, table tennis, and not forgetting our fantastic cream teas!!
Please note we are fully accessible from Stow On The Wold and Bourton On The Water so please ignore road closure and diversion signs.
From Toddington roundabout please head towards us as normal then just before Ford take right hand turn to Kineton, then first left to Temple Guiting. Proceed through village until you meet the B4077 again and take a left, we are a mile up on the left.
(This is a small 10 minute detour to your journey, and well worth the trip !)

Donnington Ale beer battered cod is on today 🐟 We are fully accessible from Bourton on the Water / Stow on the Wold . From Toddington roundabout just before Ford you can take a right to Kineton then left through TempleGuiting ( please drive steady through the village as they will see an increase in traffic ) then you are at the B4077 , take a left and we are there 🙌 Don’t let the road works put you off as it’s just 10 minutes in your journey !! A fish and chips that is worth the travel !!! We serve full menu from midday - 8.30 pm with bar open all day to 🍻
