150 Tickets @ £10 per Ticket

These are ideally suited to E-Bikes, DH or Enduro Bikes, but if you win them you can fit them to anything you want 😂
Fitment wise, due to the design of the Caliper & Mounts a +20mm Disc is required, so if your frame / fork has a 180mm Post Mount the smallest disc you can run is a 200mm, or if its 200mm Post Mount you need to run a 220mm disc.
The set includes 2x 220mm discs, I'm sure I could sort some 200mm discs if needed. 6 Bolt Only!

£10 per ticket
Each Ticket will be allocated a random number between 1 & 150 & once all the Tickets are sold, ill add a list of everyone's Name & Number in the comments section of this Post then make the draw on Facebook Live using an online random number generator.

Payment via Bank Transfer / PayPal (Friends & Family) or Cash dropped off at the workshop

Hello folks, we really want to join the troops in wigton supporting the tour of Britain as it passes through the town by displaying a load of our fancy bikes - but we need a van!

Can anybody help?
The bigger the better! LWB sprinter or Luton kind of size. With trailer would be even better but I know we’re pushing it 🤣

Well, here was me hoping for a nice quiet week to ease myself back in ... nope !!
Started Monday morning with an empty diary & had 8 bikes in by the afternoon & bookings kept on coming, probably got around 1 1/2 week waiting list for any jobs being booked in from now.
All kinds in this week, MTBs, EMTBs, Road Bikes, Touring Bikes, bent Steerer tubes, Snapped Motor bolts, Missing Hub end caps, seized XD Cassette plus the Pump on my parts washer died, Machine Mart don't carry spares so had to buy a complete Parts Washer, you can't really manage without one!!
I could do with some time off 😂

A successful stuck seatpost removal from a Carbon GT Force, a recent 2nd purchase, the seatpost was just a little too high for the customer, but was unable to lower it, the post wasn't budging at all. Let it sit for a while with some release oil then got it on my SeatPost Puller, came out pretty easily compared to some, no damage to the frame or post.
Things don't always go to plan though!
A few month ago I had a customer bring in an older Bianchi Carbon Road Bike from around 2008, didn't look in bad condition on the surface, some fresh Cables / Tape / Chain & Drivetrain cleaned & it should've been good to go.
I checked to see if the seatpost was free, it wasn't! With a little bit of effort though, I was able to move it side to side, so thought it should come out easy enough with the Puller. I got it attached & the Post started to come out pretty easily, came out around 2" then just stopped, wouldn't go back down or move side to side ... let it sit with some release oil & had another go, little bit more effort put in then crack ... b*stard !!!
The frame had cracked either side of the seat tube 👎
I stripped the rest of the bike to check everything out, the sections of outer cable through the Downtube where seized into the alloy cable sleeves, which then became detached, these were also badly corroded & the 3 glued / riveted on cable stops had also came loose!
On closer inspection there was also abit of blistering paint around the QR dropouts, also corroded!
The time / cost to get the post out, repair the cracksrr & also the other corroded parts, made it not worth repairing ... bikes unfortunately don't last forever.
Obviously the customer wasn't overly happy 😬
The Customer found a replacement frame on Ebay for a couple of hundred quid, I then cleaned & serviced the rest of the parts, fitted some new Cables, Chain, Pads, Tape etc & it was good to go. I only charged the Customer for parts, I didn't charge any Labour.
A sh*t job all round for both parties, but sometimes things don't go to plan & sometimes things things are in much worse condition than they look

Just a heads up that my Diary is now closed (probably until the middle / end of July).
Workshop has still been busy & steadily getting through everything, but still have around a 3 week wait.
I'm wanting to get some time off next month, so need to clear my job list before I do.
Everyone who has been intouch, you're still on my list & I'll get your bike in as soon as I can, if for whatever reason you don't need the work doing anymore or you've managed to get sorted elsewhere, that's fine, but would appreciate if you could let me know.

A busy time in the workshop!
Thanks to all my customers over the last month or so for being patient, its always a busy time of year & this is the first year I've learned to say No ... sorry!
Last few year I've always tried to squeeze folk in for 'small' jobs, which never turn out to be small & then I fall behind on jobs I have booked in & folk end up waiting longer than expected, I then get stressed & have to close my books to get caught up.
I'd say we're around 3 week wait for booking jobs in, hopefully sooner if everything goes to plan.
Also got a few days Holiday over this next couple of week.
If you have any events or holidays planned for the Summer & you want your bike sorted, you'd be aswell to get it booked in.
