Audi Q3 2.0tdi, came to us in limp home
Mode and the coil light flashing and dash showing DPF system fault.

We carried out a full scan of the car and a few tests we found the DPF was fully blocked.

Saab came to us in limp mode, engine management light on. We carried out a diagnostic check and found the DPF had blocked.

Everything looked in order and working as it should so a smoke test was carried to find the reason for the blockage. After a short time on the smoke test we found a split in a intercooler hose into the engine.

Now we knew what caused the DPF to get blocked we ordered a new intercooler hose and carried out a on car clean as we know this works really well for this kind of problem.

One happy customer with a clean DPF and the car running great again.

At Cumbria DPF Solutions we specialise in cleaning diesel particulate filters.
(DPF) is a filter that captures and stores exhaust soot in order to reduce emissions from diesel cars overtime these filters can become blocked and cause problems for your vehicle as such loss of power,limp home mode, using more diesel, engine light on, all of these can point towards a blocked DPF

We can do full diagnosis to find the exact fault with the DPF

We have a 2 stage off car cleaning process that includes.

Stage 1 is to soak the dpf in a fluid that breaks up the build of soot and then put on our DCS16 machine to clear the filter.

Stage 2 is a ceramic coating to give a long lasting result.

The turnaround time is same day depending on the time DPF is picked up/dropped off. Free collection/drop off in Carlisle a small charge for outside
