An unusual one today… has anyone seen one of these before? 🕵️

Research shows:
“The text appears to be Russian on an old Stewart-Warner Freedometer odometer/speedometer.
The Russian words are:
СЕЗОННЫЕ ВЕРСТЫ = Seasonal versts
СУТОЧНЫЕ ВЕРСТЫ = Daily versts
A verst (верста) is an old Russian unit of distance equal to about 1.067 kilometers (0.663 miles).

This appears to be a vintage distance-recording instrument that was adapted for the Russian market and calibrated in versts rather than miles. The two counters likely track:
A cumulative or seasonal total distance (showing about 1,315 versts)
A resettable daily distance (showing about 0.00 versts, though the display is partly obscured)
The needle is pointing near 5 on the outer scale.
This is an interesting piece because it combines an American-made Stewart-Warner instrument with Russian-language markings and pre-metric Russian distance units.”
