Job Description
We are looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) / Workshop Controller to run our small team in Bristol.
The candidate must have Audatex experience and previous hands on experience of running a body shop. The candidate will need to have the ability to prioritise jobs in the workshop, ensuring that the technicians and drivers are aware of their current and their next jobs in an efficient and fair manner in addition to excellent communication skills – with customers, staff and management.

Motorcorner Limited are a successful, well established, family owned bodyshop based in St Philips Bristol. We offer an array of vehicle repair services, and we are an independent company still owned by the original founder and run a team of experienced staff.
The Role
You will be mainly based on site as the VDA, but there will be times where you will be required to carry out mobile estimates at a customer’s chosen address. You will be assisting another member of staff who is currently carrying out this role, but eventually they will handover the role completely to the successful candidate.
The following duties are a brief outline of the main duties you will be responsible for:
· Inspect and assess damaged vehicles, submitting the estimate via estimating systems such as Audatex & Inter-Est
· Reviewing authority received and complete job packs, including methods for the workshop technicians
· Ensure all job cards are completed correctly and in a timely manner
· Allocate jobs to individual technicians and ensure best flow of work between each team
· Liaise with management with progress reports
· Update customers with progress reports via telephone, email & customer specific systems
· Carry out final quality control checks
· Submit accurate supplementary estimates
· Parts ordering/returns
· Key holder for premises
· Responsible for checking all tools and equipment are in good working order
· Overall, ensuring that the complete repair process is carried out to our high standards
Your skills / qualifications
Ideally you will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or ATA VDA, have a full current driving licence and be used to problem solving, organising and have excellent customer service skills. An understanding of ADAS and Wheel Alignment procedures would be an advantage, but not essential as training could be given on this.

Schedule
You will be required to work 40 hours a week from Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm, Fridays 7:30am - 4.30pm.
