🎉 Congratulations to Oliver Bendrey on passing his driving test FIRST TIME with just 2 driving faults! 🚗🎉

Oliver has been driving extremely well in the build-up to his test, averaging just 2 driving faults on his recent lessons.

So what did he get on the real thing? Exactly 2! 😁

Both faults were for speeding, so perhaps we’ll just say he was a little too keen to get that licence! 😂

A really comfortable drive and a thoroughly deserved first-time pass.

The only downside is that Oliver could have been straight out driving today… but unfortunately his own car has decided to celebrate by developing a coolant leak! 🤦‍♂️ Hopefully that’s sorted very soon.

🎉 Three more FIRST TIME passes in two days means three new lesson spaces have become available! 🚗🎉

A huge congratulations to Holly, Kiera and Rebecca who passed their driving tests first time this week. We’re incredibly proud of them and wish them many years of safe and enjoyable driving.

As a result, we now have two regular weekly lesson spaces available:

🚗 Dave: Wednesdays at 8:30am, 10.15am
🚗 Liam: Thursdays at 12:00pm

These spaces are ideal for learners who can commit to regular weekly lessons, helping you make steady progress towards your driving test.

From quite early on I believed Kiera had everything needed to pass. The only person who wasn’t always convinced… was Kiera herself! 😊

🚗 New Lesson Prices & New Pupil Package

Over the past three years, we’ve worked hard to keep our lesson prices unchanged. Unfortunately, with the continued increase in running costs, it’s now time to make a small adjustment to our prices so we can continue providing the high standard of tuition our pupils expect.

⭐ The good news for our existing pupils…

If you’re already learning with Newman’s Driving School, your current lesson prices will remain until 1 January 2027. We wanted to give all of our existing pupils plenty of opportunity to complete their driving journey before any increase takes effect.

✅ Your first two 90-minute lessons (3 hours)
✅ PLUS a complimentary 2-hour lesson on the day of your practical driving test (subject to our normal booking terms).

📘 Block of 6 hours – £258
(Equivalent to £43 per hour)

⭐ Block of 10 hours – £420
(Equivalent to just £42 per hour)

📅 Monthly Payment Plan

🎉 Congratulations to Emma Scalding on passing her driving test! 🚗🥳

A huge congratulations to Emma, who passed her driving test today on her second attempt! 👏

Emma’s journey to getting her licence has certainly been one of the longest I’ve experienced. We first started lessons together back in February 2022, but after her first test she moved to Lebanon, putting driving on hold while life took her in a different direction.

Fast forward to this summer, Emma returned and we fitted in a mini intensive over the course of about a month to get everything back up to test standard.

I’m delighted to say all the hard work paid off with a well-deserved pass today! 🎉

It just goes to show that even if your driving journey takes an unexpected break, you can always pick it up again and achieve your goal.

Well done, Emma! Wishing you many years of safe and happy driving. 🚗💨

A fantastic result today for Caitlin, who passed her driving test at the first attempt! 👏

Caitlin was understandably very nervous before the test and was really hoping for a female examiner. Fortunately, she got her wish, which helped put her at ease before setting off.

She was happy to celebrate her achievement with a photo, although she’s chosen to keep her face hidden behind her pass certificate – and that’s absolutely her choice. 😊

🎉🚗 Massive congratulations to Theo Zdybel on passing his driving test FIRST TIME with just 1 driving fault! 👏🥳

An excellent drive today and a thoroughly deserved result. Particularly pleasing
as was the second test pass of the day.

Theo has worked incredibly hard throughout his lessons, with plenty of support from his dad between lessons, which really helped him progress quickly. As his confidence and ability continued to grow, it became clear he was ready sooner than expected, so we brought his driving test forward—and today it paid off with a fantastic first-time pass.

Theo is also chasing his dream in rugby and is currently on the Bath Rugby youth pathway, so we wish him every success with both his driving and his sporting future. 🏉

🎉 Congratulations to Sofia Sanchez-Luppi on passing your driving test today! 🚗👏

A fantastic result on your third attempt, but in all honesty Sofia had the ability to pass much earlier. Sometimes driving tests just don’t go your way, and today she showed exactly what she was capable of with a calm, confident drive.

There were just a couple of shunts during the bay park, but overall it was a comfortable pass and thoroughly deserved.
