This Whyte E-160 has just had a serious upgrade package here at Progressive Cycles and it’s now ready to hit the start line at Llandegla in November! 🏁⛰️

First up, we fitted a RockShox ZEB Ultimate to give this E-160 some serious front-end performance and control. 💪

We also upgraded the dropper to a 200mm dropper post, giving the rider even more room to move when things get steep, technical and rowdy. 🤘

But we didn’t stop there…

💡 Knog Blinder 1800 headlight fitted and connected directly to the bike’s motor, giving it a super clean, integrated finish while keeping external wiring and cables to an absolute minimum.

It’s all about those little details — performance where it matters, clean installation and a bike that’s ready for race day. 👌

Now it’s time to put those upgrades to the test at Llandegla! 🏁🔥

This Orbea Rise came into Progressive Cycles today for a much-needed full service — and we’ve got it back feeling fresh and ready for the trails! 🚵‍♂️💨

A few jobs needed taking care of along the way:

🔗 New chain fitted
🛑 New rear brake pads
🎧 New lower headset bearing
🛞 Tyres set up tubeless
🧼 Full service, clean & inspection

The lower headset bearing had seen better days, so that was replaced, along with the worn chain and rear pads. We also got the tyres properly set up tubeless, giving the bike a much better trail-ready setup. 👌

Another bike checked over properly rather than just giving it a quick once-over. At Progressive Cycles, we like to make sure everything is working exactly as it should before the bike leaves the workshop. 🔥

This Bianchi road bike came into Progressive Cycles with some issues with the Di2 electronic gear system — so the first job was to get it diagnosed and find out exactly what was going on.

After testing everything, we found the culprit… or should I say culprits! 👀

🔋 The Di2 battery had failed
🔌 One of the cables running through the handlebars had also been pinched and damaged, causing a break in the cable.

So we got to work replacing the failed battery and damaged cable, getting the Di2 system back up and shifting properly again. ⚙️✅

But while we had the bike in the workshop, we thought we’d give the rest of it some attention too.

Both brakes were in need of some TLC, so we carried out a full flush and bleed on both brakes, along with giving the bike a good overall service and once-over.

Everything checked, adjusted and working exactly as it should. 👌

📞 Time to give the customer a call…

And when they came to collect it, they were absolutely over the moon! 😁

Well… the Whyte E-160 has officially had its first proper ride, and WOW! 😍🔥

I took it out this weekend to Farmer John’s MTB Park and I honestly wasn’t expecting it to feel this good straight out of the box.

I was riding trails faster than I’ve ever ridden them before! 😳💨

The confidence from running full 29-inch wheels is unreal. This thing just absolutely MONSTER TRUCKS over everything! 🦖💥 Roots, rocks, rough sections… it just ploughs straight through and keeps charging.

The stability and grip give you so much confidence to carry more speed, push harder and attack sections that I’d normally be a little more cautious on.

And for a first ride? I’m absolutely buzzing with it! 🤘

I think this bike and I are going to have some serious fun together! 🔥

Whyte E-160 — what a machine!

Sad to see it going but it’s up for sale £2600 takes it. No stupid offers. Price is firmly set to sell.
The bikes wants for nothing all recently been fully service new motor fitted in March. Comes with charge/ keys/ paperwork all booklets also has AXS DROPPER POST AND DERAILLURE.

We’ve just had this Whyte Karve RSX in for a serious round of Hope Tech upgrades, including a fresh Hope headset to finish off this seriously custom build. 🔧🔥

This isn’t your standard off-the-shelf setup either…

The whole bike has been built around the customer’s exact specifications, choosing the components and setup they wanted to create something completely individual. 👌

From the Hope upgrades to the finer finishing touches, everything has been carefully selected to suit the rider and how they want the bike to feel and perform.
