Sorry for the delay in posting out this report from our Astro Attack Charity meeting, we had some numbers to crunch.

We want to thank everyone who attended and supported our Astro Attack charity fundraising event this year. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves, especially the 2x fun races! If you have any videos of these please share them on our pages as I think it sums up what our events are always about besides the "serious" races.

We raised just over Β£1700 this weekend at Astro Attack. This was only possible due to the generosity of those attending and supporting the meeting. It wasn't our biggest turnout but I think we can be proud of the amount we raised for Prostate Cancer UK, and more importantly we all got together to enjoy a weekend of racing and laughs in memory of Steve Milner.

Thanks again to those who donated raffle prizes, and generosity of those who purchased raffle tickets.

We had some great competitive races in all classes over the weekend. The podiums were as follows:

1/8th Electric Buggy:
1st: Charlie Ware
2nd Joshua Stuckey
3rd Daniel Austin

1/8th Nitro Buggy:
1st: Daniel Robins
2nd; Jake Dell
3rd: Iain Mellish

Large Scale Combined:
1st: Stavros Costas
2nd: Kevan Churchill
3rd: Martin Fitzpatrick

Juniors
1st: Jake Dell
2nd: Joshua Stuckey
3rd: Tristan Doleman

Ensure you mark your calendar for 25th and 26th September 2027 when we'll do it all again to raise even more money for Charity!

As always we are indebted to our friends in the RC distribution and retail industry for donating such a vast array of quality raffle prizes each year for our Astro Attack charity fundraiser weekend.

100% of the raffle money will be going to Prostate Cancer UK which we know goes some way to helping the support and research into a disease that affects 1 in 8 men during their lifetime.
