Yesterday was the first day of qualification and racing here at a warm and Sunny Brands Hatch.
And, as ever, racing with Gary Stevens is never good for my wonky ticker ❤️😃
The NG Road Racing Open qualifying. He slotted into second place, with a 47.+ He was so shocked to see the time on his dash that he promptly slid off at the entrance to Clearways 😱🫣
The crash repairs meant missing qualifying for the Powerbike, giving him an automatic back row start.
First race, The Open. He led from the first to the last lap for the WIN 😍
Powerbike, came through from last place to get 7th. Setting things up for a better day today. He is surrounded by some amazingly generous and supportive fellow riders and friends 👍

Well, it's that time of year again, where I dish out some sincere words of wisdom as we transfer from 2025 into 2026.
Twenty bloody twentysix!! How the buggering hell has this happened!! 😂

7 years ago today, and trying my first leg. I was a bit confused. Until I realised what the confusion was, I was pain free for the first time in 23 years 😁👍 At this point I would like to be wise and say something about, 'Sometimes you have to lose something precious, so as to gain so much more' but, can't be arsed 😄 Happy Christmas everyone 🎄
