UBC Formula Electric We are a student engineering team that designs, builds, tests, and races an electric car to compete in the annual Formula SAE Electric competition.

UBC Formula Electric is an engineering design team that provides students across all faculties with opportunities to tackle real-world issues surrounding the design and adoption of electric vehicles. Our primary goal involves designing, building, and testing a single-seat formula-style race car to compete in the annual Formula SAE Electric competition against universities from across the globe. The competition is a test of both engineering ability and team organisation.

And that's a wrap on comp! We're real proud of what we accomplished, clearing cost, design, mech, and battery events.

We spent the year optimizing and building for the future: improving the 4 wheel drive powertrain introduced last year, making 7 custom PCBs, and providing better telemetry and controls. This allows us to better understand our car and provides a stable platform for the future. It's paid off, and comp has been the moment where the fruits of our labour becomes clear.

We'll be back, and we can't wait to see what the future brings.
