From seedling to finished wood product, everything we do at ATCO Wood Products begins in the forest.

This week is an opportunity to recognize the forests that support our environment, our communities and an industry that provides jobs for thousands of British Columbians.

We’re proud to be part of that story. We source wood from sustainably managed forests, support forest regeneration and work to make the most of this incredible renewable resource.

This year’s National Forest Week theme, “Forest Pathways: Innovation and Sustainability,” also speaks to where our industry is headed. As forestry continues to evolve, innovation helps us find smarter ways to use our resources, reduce waste and build a strong future for forestry in BC.

From the forest to our mill in Fruitvale and beyond, we’re proud to be part of an industry rooted right here in British Columbia. 🌲

A heartfelt thank you to the firefighters, first responders, emergency personnel, volunteers and everyone supporting wildfire response efforts across the province.❤️

Given the scope and scale of wildfires currently burning in B.C., and to further protect public safety, recreational off-road vehicle use will be prohibited on Crown land in the Kamloops and Southeast Fire Centres, as well as parts of the Cariboo and Coastal Fire Centres. This prohibition is effective immediately, as of 12 p.m. (noon) on August 10, 2026.
