Well, we have weighed a lot of different things, but never a repurposed plane!! ✈️

We were more than happy to help out the Royal Flying Doctor Service with weighing their flight simulator. This little beauty travels around and visits some very lucky school kids!

Whatever oddity you may have that needs weighing, and not sure who to call, then drop a line to The Tassie Weigh on 0475 908 809. Your locally owned and operated mobile vehicle weighing service.

At The Tassie Weigh, we make getting your vehicle or trailer weighed as easy and convenient as possible.

We’re a mobile vehicle weighing service travelling right around Tasmania, which means we come to you! 🏡

If you have a suitable solid, level area at your place, we can complete the weigh right there. If not, we’ll work with you to find a suitable location nearby.

Our efficient weighing process allows us to measure:

⚖️ Each individual wheel
⚖️ Each axle
⚖️ Towball weight
⚖️ Total vehicle and trailer weights

But we don’t just hand you a bunch of numbers and send you on your way!

We take the time to explain exactly where your weight is situated, what your results mean, and how your setup compares with its applicable weight limits.

And if something needs adjusting, we can work with you there and then to see what changes can be made to improve your setup.

Our aim is for you to finish your appointment with a clear understanding of your weights and the confidence that your setup is safe, legal and properly set up for the road. ✅

Whether it’s a caravan and tow vehicle, motorhome, camper, trailer, horse float, fleet vehicle or something else — The Tassie Weigh comes to you for your convenience.

The Tassie Weigh were on the road again!

This time we headed up to the beautiful North East coast of Tasmania. 🌞

We did some house calls, including to Scottsdale and Lalla, bringing our mobile weighing service straight to our customers. 🏠

One of the best parts of what we do is getting out and about across Tasmania. And of course the great people we get to meet, helping make sure their setups are safe, legal and ready to travel with confidence.

Who knows where The Tassie Weigh will pop up next! 😄

With only a few more to join us on our journey before we hit 200 followers, The Tassie Weigh team wanted to personally thank all of you for being part of our weighing journey so far ❤️

If you do know anyone who might like to follow us, please share our page so they too can be a part of the Tassie Weigh journey 😍

We will soon be including more information about the details of a weigh, as it can be a lot to take in with all the different acronyms and terminology that gets used 🤯

We're here to answer any questions that you have, whether via a comment, phone call/text or email, we are happy to offer our expert advice.

Many of the vehicles and trailers that we weigh are overweight, but it's not the end of the world!
We work with our clients during the appointment using our detailed analysis reports to redistribute weight and explain step by step to help find the right solution.

There are, of course, also those who receive the great news that their weights are all within the required limits, and we’re always happy to provide that extra peace of mind and confidence when travelling. 😊

A little road trip down to Huntingfield over the weekend! 🚙☀️

We headed down to do a few weighs on caravans and tow vehicles, helping their owners make sure they know exactly where their weights are sitting before hitting the road.

One of the best parts of what we do is definitely the travelling. We get to head all over Tassie, meet some great people and see plenty of different parts of our beautiful state along the way. 💙

Not a bad office when Tasmania is your workplace! 😄

Know your weights. Travel with confidence.

We recently had the opportunity to weigh a tow vehicle and horse float, loaded with two beautiful horses. We provided all necessary weights, such as ATM, GVM, GCM and axle weights, and we were also able to calculate the weight of the individual horses. This was an eye opener for the owner as the horse that was thought to have weighed more, was actually a bit lighter, which will change the loading order. 🐴🐴

We are happy to report everyone was very cooperative on the day, including the horses 😆 and we were pleased to pass on good news to the owner! A relief for her with the up-and-coming Australian Interschool Championships. 🐎

An event in which The Tassie Weigh are proud to provide support and sponsorship for Pippin and Ruby on their amazing journey, commencing this September. 🏆

Best of luck to Pippin and Ruby and stay tuned as we will provide updates on how they are travelling! 🏇🏿
