We prepped a stock K24A3 (timing chain, guides, K20 oil pump etc....) to go into a Toyota MR2 SW20, a couple of years back managed to make just shy of 280KW at the wheels. This year she is back to lift boost level higher and get the timing gear checked and refreshed, since she runs on E85 full time.
We are using a Link ECU HC20X Plug in DC5/EP3/K-swap ECU supplied by Elusive Racing, better option than using a stock ECU and mounting a daughter board on it. Hooked up a genuine MAC 3-port boost solenoid and an external switch, to toggle from low to high boost tables with a quick flick of a switch.
A wise man uncle David Flood once said to me that the fun starts at 20psi, however I have set her up very conservatively at 7psi on low boost and 14psi up high. Way below the efficiency range of a G35-900.
