Unfortunately this is where the customer pays twice .

Damaged valve stem seal
Cam caps fitted incorrectly at some stage and have damaged the dowels
Valve spring installed upside down
Stripped cam cap bolts ( just m8 it and send it )
Wrong length bolts used in cam caps and have cracked the cylinder head under the journal
Cam caps not torqued properly
12 bent intake valves .

Put the tools 🔧 down and step away.

Built rb 25/30 in for a check over after being built and coming from another mechanical workshop.

Main bearing shells installed the wrong way. (no oil feed)
Spun all big end bearings.
Crank thrust worn .020"
Crank snout badly worn.
Rod bolts galled.
Timing belt damaged
Elongated head bolt holes with a die grinder🤔 and no dowels
Cam tunnels badly scored and bound up.
Camshafts journals scored .

The only salvageable part is the bare block
