Had this neat vy commodore in for some upgrades.
So i did a cam package and some upgrades a while back.
We made 194rwkw on pump 98 no intercooler very hot day too.

Plan was to do a couple upgrades and switch to e85.

1st thing that needed attention was the yella terra supercharger snout.
It sounded like a bucket of bolts so it was rebuilt and found drive pins loose and holes worn so that was fixed and tig welded and will never have that issue again.
So now the sc is way quieter.
Next was fuel pump.
Still had the stock L67 pump so we upgraded to a walbro 460.

Since it had an 8 rib balancer already we upgraded to an 8 rib setup and 67mm pulley.

Result was 237.9 rwkw.
At this power and boost its tapped out and to go any further we will need a w2a intercooler setup and further lim porting, sc porting larger elbow, larger tb and bigger intake.
I think a manual conversion may be on the cards too.
For now a 44rwkw gain from e85 and a pulley change is very good for such minor mods and it drives great and still shifts gears as it should.
All tuned with the delco ecu and maf on our mainline pro hub dyno.
If you would like to do something similar or even more wild to your L67 i can be contacted via message on here or on 0410893148.
Please like and share and check out pics and idle video in the comments.

Very tidy vy L67 in for a tune.
Stock L67
Only mods were mace cai
3.4" pulley
Boost solenoid bypass mod.
2.5 catback - still stock headers
4l60e
Std diff gears.
Made 169.6 rwkw round up to 170.
Car goes really well.
Great gains and more to be had with extractors and hi flow cats and further mods.
Tuned with the factory delco ecu and maf.

Been a minute since i posted anything.
I have been flat out lately with a few projects.
Today one them was finshed up and the results were very good.
Its a built 355
Yella terra whipple 2400
T5 manual and 3.9 gears.
This car was built elsewhere and tuned but the results weren't great and it was barely driveable.
Plugs fouling up etc.
It was actually that bad i aborted the idea of doing a pre power run.
It was tuned with the delco ecu.

Game plan was to fix some of the issues and the more i dug the more i found.

So 1st game plan was to try the new haltech nexus gm plug in ecu and install yella terra w2a intercooler kit.
With the gm nexus installed and new set of plugs i got it running ok.
Next issue it was only getting 75% throttle and the throttle bracket was flexing.
It also only had a china 84mm tb and then went 4" to 3.5" why i got nfi.
I had the elbow tb holes welded up re drilled and tapped to suit a motion raceworks 92 mm throttle body and port match to the elbow.
I also fixed the throttle cable setup which now comes in from behind the elbow and has proper geometry and a proper bracket to get 100% throttle.
Next was the intercooler kit install.
Fuel system was also upgraded.
Golebys Surge tank with a walbro 525 , dash 8 feed dash 6 return.
Heavy duty wiring and relay to supply proper voltage to the walbro 525 pump.
Turbosmart fuel reg.
Modded factory rails.
60lb or 660cc injectors
Lines from bay down heat wrapped.
The exhaust also heat wrapped to keep heat away from fuel lines and heat coming thru the floor.
Smalley pulley/belt
Custom 4" intake pipe and modded mace airbox.
Clutch was checked out and was stock and not up to the task.
A new custom clutch from western clutch in st marys ordered.
Its still an organic plate but larger at 10.5" with yella terra steel flywheel and arp bolts.
Another issue that arised was high coolant temps so we upgraded the fan to an aeroflow brushless fan and its rated at 3400cfm.
It does a really good job at bringing down the temps too.
Soft start feature is great and you dont get a sudden current draw like other fans.

If you are thinking of going a haltech my advise is do it, well worth the $$$$.
These new nexus ecu's work really well and have alot of features.
The idle control works way better than previous gm sport too.
We had a goal of 500rwhp on 98 and we
got there only just 3 hp short at 497 but im calling it 500.
Boost average is 10psi tapering up to 1.5 psi then peaks around 13 psi.
On the road it drives really well and only needs a squeeze of the throttle and it just blazes tyres.
I'd say mission accomplished.
It did snow ball a bit but was worth the end.

If you would like anything similar or want to upgrade your holden v8 or just upgrade to the nexus gm ecu i can be contacted on 0410893148.
Check out the comments too for pics of the build.

Had a very tidy vs clubsport come in for some diagnosis and maintence. Its a stock 304 with hsv headers and 3" hi flow cat and 3" exhaust. T5 manual and std gears.
Came in on a tilt tray not running.
On diagnosis found the spark was there but so weak it would not fire.
Also plugs had fueled up from running poorly previously. A new coil was installed in the factory location. New ngk plugs installed. Also looked at the fuel filter as owner had a genuine one and it hadn't been changed in a long time. So it was changed out and new fuel line and clamps fitted at the same time. Then was able to fire the car up and get it running.
Next was a service nulon street and track 25/60 oil. Ryco filter, new air filter and went over everything. Next was to test drive which went good. So next was the dyno not only for a tune but also using the dyno for testing to make sure the car wasnt going to cut out and that the fuel system was still good. This is one of my mail tunes no custom tuning. Ran up and made 170rwkw which is the highest ive seen so far. Main thing it was driving smoother and more responsive and i tested the car at varying loads and made sure everything was good and no cutting out etc.The dyno is also a very good tool for diagnosis not just dyno tuning. Good end result and customer was able to drive home. If you got any isssues with your 304 or 355 or just want it dyno tuned contact via fb or on 0410893148. See videos in comnents

Been busy with a few things on the go atm.
New haltech nexus gm plug in ordered in a while ago.
I Already installed it and up and and got it running in a sc 355 which has now getting some serious mods getting done and also to fix a few issues.
These ecu's are great stay tuned for the results.
Nearly finished an sbe 5.3 iron block
This has some good gear.
Its a gen 4 version so has the later gen 4 rods with floating pins.
The whole engine has been rebuilt.
Its to suit turbo application post coming soon.

Also had a tidy vx v6 come in for some upgrades.
Mace 69mm throttle body
Mace cai
Already had full exhaust.
Did a proper flash tune.
My tunes are tested and road and dyno tested and actually work same cant be said for the market place junk getting around atm.

Can just run up with the flash tune for bolt on mods or can custom dyno tune if you have a cam and more mods or just test on road.
Picked up some good gains, trans shifts better fan temps set lower and must use 98 due to optimized timing.
The mace airbox setups look way nicer the the stock setup and flow more.

We can get any mace parts and fit it like above and tune your car to suit.
If you want any of the above or just a dyno tune call on 0410893148

Vs stato v8 in for bushes and coilovers.
The original bushes were pretty worn.
Std shocks done and handled like a boat and made some odd noises in the rear end.

All the bushes were replaced with superpro bushes.

Front raduis rod bushes
Lower arms+ new ball joints
Sway bar bushes
HD sway bar links

Rear subframe bushes
Diff mount insert
Adjustable Camber and toe kit
Sway bar bushes

XYZ coilover kit.

These are a great kit for the $$$.
Once the ride height was set and we were going for a pratical pro street look its alot lower than stock but still legal.
Next was wheel alignment then setting the shocks so they were just right.
The car now handles and feels so much better on the road its a huge improvement.

I did a few other small jobs.
Fixed the pwr window on pass side as it broken clip where they slide on the rails and as a result the window dropped so replaced all 3 clips and lubed sliders and fixed that.

Next was the washer bottle it was replaced with new mtr and new hose and fitting inside the bonnet to both jets.

Also replaced the plugs as they had seen better days and actually ran alot smoother after.

Now its ready for some power upgrades.
If you want anything like this done i can be contacted on 0410893148 or msg via this fb page.

Very tidy vb commodore in for dyno tune.
Just a stock L67 with 3.5" pulley.
Pre dyno check it needed injectors as it had china knock off 36lb injectors.
I will not tune with chinese injectors so for the same $$$ got some 60lb injectors.
Plugs were bit all over the shop and 1.5mm gap so no good for boost and was breaking down.
Some new ngk plugs gapped to 0.80mm. Couple small things tidied up and tuning went great.
Runs well, drives well and that was important as this car does cruises etc.
Std Intake is a bit restrictive and worth about 5kw+
Ended up with 153 rwkw on 8 psi.
An L67 with 10 psi pulley and cai typically do about 170rwkw+ so this is on the money given the mods.
Even so being alot lighter than VT-VY
it feels like it has more power and gets moving pretty well.
All tuned on a factory delco vx L67 ecu.

For all your L67 tuning and modifications i can be contacted on 0410893148
I also have the mace pulley removal/install tool so can change the stock pulley over to the mace hub/ pulley setup.

VT calais on my hub dyno.
Came in not running and had a few issues to sort to get it running properly before it was even dyno ready.
Map sensor not plugged in
No iat sensor
Needed plugs
Oil change due to diluted oil from running too rich
Missing extractor bolts
98 fuel
Overheating issue ( thermostat)
Chinese fans barely cutting it just dont use them!

It has been converterd from v6 to ls1.
Its an early VT Ls1 so they have the 853 heads and early manifold which dont flow as well as the later 241 heads and vx and up manifold.
Cnc ported heads and later manifold would be a nice upgrade for this.
Just has a gm turbo killer 1 cam
3500rpm stall
Turbo 400
Diff gears not sure maybe 3.9s.
Exhaust 4 into 1s and twin 3"
VCM Otr
Car sounds tough and now runs like it should.

Call 0410893148 for any LS tuning all done on our mainline hub dyno, cam packages, supercharger upgrades or turbo setups.

VP Gts back in for some more upgrades.
Also it devleoped a missfire and started to run pretty average.
Some investigating and i found an injector wire shorting on the manifold so that was rectified.
A new set of plugs and back to how it was.
One upgrade needed was the fan.
Even though it was a spal fan it wasnt one of the higher flowing fans and with no shroud and a 5-6mm gap brtween the fan and radiator it just got too hot.
So we came up with the idea to use the stock shroud and one of E-FABs custom bracket which uses an FG single fan motor and fan assemmbly.
It looks great and we tested it on the dyno and it works very well.
Next was sorting out the auto shifting. Turns out the cable was adjusted way too much and the shifts were terrible. Some adjusting fixed that issue.
Next was the gauge install.
These are innovate 2 in 1 gauges.
1 is oil pressure and oil temp the other is boost and afr.
I manged to make an adaptor that took the stock oil press sensor, temp sensor and oil pressure sensor.
Once all installed it was run up on the dyno and due to the shift points being corrected had to do a bit of fine tuning.
Also did a couple power runs to make sure it was all ok and reeled off 278 rwkw in this humid weather.

If you would like anything similar done or dyno tuning i can be contacted on 0410893148.
Dyno video in comments.

Vx commodore v6 turbo came in and needed a fair bit of work.

I actualy seen this one for sale at one point on facebook market place.

Basicly when i got this car it was a runner but far from dyno ready and it needed quite a bit of work to get the results.
Quick rundown
Stock ecotec v6
Turbo unkown
Manifolds custom
40mm external gate
Single 2.5" exhaust
Getrag 5 speed
Diff gears unkown.

1st off the ecotec flash ecu and wiring harness was removed and replaced with a L67 harness and ecu which was modified to suit the getrag 5 speed.

The turbo return was so bad it was all removed and a dash 10 welded on the sump and new return line made.
The ac pump was bad all open and damaged condensor so decided to delete the ac to give us more room.
Ac delete belt , new pulleys.
Front seal, crank sensor replaced.
Lots of cleaning parts and modifying things.
The intake was removed cleaned up and extra fittings installed.
Vs rails installed with 60lb injectors.
Turbosmat fuel reg
Vac hoses.
New fuel lines in dash 6 speedflow 200 series hose.
Pipe work modfied and maf sensor installed and gm airtemp sensor fitted.
Wastegate wasnt even plumbed up so sorted that and fitted a turbosmart boost tee.
New ngk plugs.
Oil service
Coolant
Coolant Temp sensor
Lots of work went into getting the engine ready.

The fuel pump was replaced with a 255 pump and new filter and fresh 98.
1st dyno session didnt go to plan and clutch slipping bad on the dyno and the more boost the worse it got so the clutch was upgraded.
Its an NPC cushioned button clutch kit with steel flywheel and dowel kit as well as the factory dowels.
Everything was cleaned and assembled.
New gearbox oil then back on the dyno where i managed 280rwkw at 14psi and it was out of wastegate spring so left it there.
Pretty good results for a stock ecotec v6 and looks like an older turbo but it sounds great.
All tuned on the factory delco ecu.
