Bryce contacted me about tuning his MK1 Golf with a 2L non cross flow engine fitted with Jenvey ITBs and an electronic actuator, and a Haltech ecu to control it all.
I balanced the throttles and found it genuinely straightforward to tune, without the usual intricacies of an ITB setup. I was also blown away by the smoothness of the power curve, something you usually don’t get.
After taking it for a road test I was also very impressed, 75kw might not sound like much but it makes very good broad torque and drives incredible.
A very cool car.
