2026 Nitro Champs - Recap

Luke bought the altered back out to play in a big Super Comp field. We have managed to work through the set up gremlins of this car and have learnt a few things. We managed to get a base line set up which we will now work towards turning up the power. Luke ran a PB of 7.77 @169 MPH which is knocking on the door of the C/AA record. He was able to win a few rounds, ending his day in the semi-finals against the eventual winner, Craig Geddes.
A semi final finish keeps Luke in the number 2 position in the current NDRC championship chase, only 20 points behind the leader, Warren Allen.
The question now is, does Luke run the B dragster or the C altered at Winter Nationals?

Adriana took a first round loss this meeting, breaking out with a 7.05 on a 7.07 dial in. During qualifying the dragster kept throwing us gremlins that we have been chasing over the last 2 meetings. At the end of qualifying we found a small issue, rectified it and the car showed us that it is almost running back to its normal self after being a bit on the slower side over the past few months. Adriana has now dropped to the number 2 position by 10 points in the championship.

Now we get ready to roll into the Winter Nationals at Willowbank Raceway, QLD.
