The assignment: Make these look like VF Holden seats.
Mission accomplished, I say😮‍💨😮‍💨

Ryan had his factory rear seats cut and modified, deleting the fold down armrest section of both the seats, so he could run a battery box inbetween the 2. Ryan asked me if I could retrim them to make them look like the VF Holden seats he’s running in the front. I can’t help myself but to say yes to a challenge. 25mm foam was added to the bolsters to create a more ‘bucket style’ seat, which meant we had to tailor-make and pattern the covers from scratch. It was a big job, but a very rewarding one. I can’t wait to see pics of them in the car.

🟤 Mitch’s PanelVan BenchSeat 🟤

Woah! This was a big one… The seat needed to be completely resprung and a bit of ‘panel beating’ was needed, especially on the fold down armrest mechanisms. Foams were shaped and bolsters created to give it a more bucket style feel and look.
We used Novatex International vinyls with the matching colour perforated inserts and a strip in the middle to break it up and give it a little twist. Very pleased, considering the hurdles that came along with it.

Have you ever taken notice of small details in both of our logos?
‘TRIMMING’ has a sewing needle through the centre of it, and on our lettering logo, there is a stitch line. These logos were designed by a very good friend of mine , also incorporating his design signature in the licence plate of the roadster. These logo’s are timeless and I will never get sick of looking at them 😍

Repair work was flying out the doors last week. We had these 2 Landcruiser seats in for ‘quick’ retrims to meet RWC requirements. Not only do they look better, but they have been repaired to last… all done ASAP, ready for it to go in for a roadworthy.
