What happened to the Evo 8 MR?
This client has owned this Evo 8 MR for 15+ years. Despite owning it for so long he only managed to drive it a mere 2,000kms. The vehicle was purchased. Driven back to Victoria and his dream went bang! We had deducted that the cause of the damage was a lack of oil pressure.
Come to present day. Hes finally pulled the trigger to get it fixed and back on the road. The motor was pulled and oil pan was removed. We found pretty much every single bearing in the bottom of the oil pan was glitter!
With a client supplied motor we brought this old girl back to life. A few changes with the setup and parts. Some diff and cradle bushes. A sprinkle of love and a A LOT of de greaser. She was back in action.
One very happy client. He finally has his hands back on the wheel of his dream. A few return check ups post swap and all is good!
