Our go to package on these later models consists of a clutch upgrade, dpf back exhaust and remap to unlock a hidden 300nm of torque to make life much more enjoyable out on the road.

This 200 came in for a check up of the previous tune up after over speeding a turbo and snapping it in half.

With more fuel driving the turbos than what you see fly out of those crazy trucks in the states that do wheel stands it was easy to see why. A quick flash back to stock to make sure everything is ok mechanically and then it was onto the important stuff.

This vehicle is now fixed with a proper Just Autos calibration, and surprise surprise it’s making more power and torque everywhere, with the desired charge pressure under control and following target as it should.

We’ve tuned a mammoth amount of FTE’s over the last 10 years and they’re still one of my favourites.

We tuned this one about 4 years ago on the std injectors and turbo, now fitted with a set of a +30’s and a UFI so was back for more.

The Unichip ensures tuning is a breeze on these old girls👌

A trip down memory lane today with some Unichip Australia & New Zealand action on this Kia Stinger GT.

Coming in completely stock making 235kw at the hubs and leaving with exactly 300kw after some massaging of the base map which still netted 289kw.

With the market being flooded with “pre tuned” Unichips now it’s good to see it’s still worth purchasing these through a proper authorised dealer and having them properly tuned on a Dyno if you want the best results.

Well I can’t say these opportunities pop up very often but when you get asked to see if you can extract some ponies from a McLaren GT4 it would be rude to say no.

The 3.8 litre flat plane V8 with two wee little hair dryers poking in less than a bar of boost while sucking on 98 octane from the bowser responded extremely well, being careful not to stress the rest of the car too much since this one does more than collect the groceries.
