Sometimes you've just got to trust your gut.

When bought this 2000 LN172 Hilux, it had a tray. She'd always wanted a tub, so the build didn't really begin until she finally found one... six months later.

From there, it was another six months of sanding, prepping, priming and blocking the entire ute with help from her dad and boyfriend. Every step of the build was done by hand.

The hardest part? Choosing the colour.

Everyone told her not to do it. They said it would devalue the car and she'd never sell it. But she couldn't shake the vision she had. Working with her paint supplier, they created a custom colour inspired by a Harley-Davidson finish... and she backed herself.

Safe to say, we're glad she did. 👌
