Things will be looking a little different out here today as Blackheath and Thornburgh College host Round 1 “Twilight-20” of the Qld Pedal Prix Super Series.

Come out and support these incredible kids as they pedal their way to victory!!

PEDAL PRIX 🛣️🏁 // If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, why not head out to the Towers Kart Racing Club and watch Round 1 of the QLD Super Series Pedal Prix.

BTC is proudly hosting the event in conjunction with Towers Kart Racing Club and we are looking forward to welcoming teams from Mackay, Emerald and Townsville to battle it out in the Twilight-20 format; 20x20 minute stints.

Race is on Saturday evening, starting at 4pm and finishing at 10:40pm. Canteen will be operating thanks to our wonderful P&F ladies 💙

𝐊𝐆 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋 & 𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝟑 𝐍𝐐 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 || Done and Won!

Congratulations to all that claimed a spot on the podium!

Special mention goes to the winners of our 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐂𝐮𝐩 Sportsman of the Day and Clems improvement award.

𝐙𝐚𝐜 𝐓𝐲𝐬𝐨𝐧 was the recipient of Clems Cup - this junior had a good day of racing, but was a bit unlucky in the final. However, before going back to the pits at the end of racing he took the time to thank the officials for a good day. This display of respect and recognition from a junior driver was really appreciated by those that witnessed it! Good on you Zac!

𝐀𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐮𝐳𝐳𝐞𝐬𝐞 was the recipient of Clems improvement award - Ari finished heat 2 in 6th place and then each race after he managed to secure another spot fighting his way through to finish 3rd in the final! Congratulations Ari we hope you enjoy your photo package from the best in the business Natedogg Photography!

And one last note (if you’re still reading, thanks for hanging in there) - THANK YOU to everyone that supports or tiny little club, there truely is only a handful of us (5) and without the support of our incredible karting community we couldn’t hold these meets, we are so grateful for the km’s you travel to show us your support!
