Automall Aspley Celebrates Excellence at WorldSkills Queensland 2026

We're incredibly proud of three of our apprentices who recently represented their trade at the WorldSkills Queensland Competition held at TAFE Queensland Acacia Ridge. Daniel Marold represented in the Auto Electrical field, while Wesley Dare-McCombe and Jack Knight competed in the Light Vehicle category.
For those who don't know, WorldSkills is Australia's premier vocational skills competition, challenging apprentices and students to benchmark their abilities against industry peers under real-world pressure.
Daniel finished an impressive 5th place in his cohort, a fantastic result considering the exceptionally high standard of competitors and the complexity of the challenges presented throughout the event.

Wesley and Jack placed 1st and 2nd, with only 8 points separating the two of them out of a possible 100, highlighting just how competitive the field was.

Congratulations to Wesley, Jack and Daniel on their outstanding results. You have represented yourselves, Automall Aspley, and the wider Eagers Automotive team with professionalism and pride.
