HERE IT IS! 🔥 Our ALL-NEW 2026 RAM 5500 Ultimate Tourer.
One of the first 6th Gen RAM 5500s in Australia and easily one of the biggest touring builds we’ve put together at ATA.
The whole idea with this truck was pretty simple - build something that can tow a serious van, carry a decent size boat without towing, carry all the gear and still have the capability to get well off the beaten track.
The RAM 5500 gives us one hell of a starting point:

Up top we’ve got a 4.1m Makocraft 🦈 Aluminium Boats Australia tinny running a 30HP Mercury, with a purpose-built loading system to get the boat on and off the truck without needing to tow another trailer.
The canopy setup is loaded with an 800Ah power system, dual fridges, plenty of storage, Baja Designs lighting and all the gear needed for extended trips away.
That means you can have the caravan behind you, boat on the back, gear in the canopy and still have one seriously capable truck underneath it all.
And despite the size of this thing, you’re not exactly roughing it inside either. The Laramie brings leather trim, heated and ventilated front seats, 14.5” Uconnect, 360° camera, adaptive cruise and Harman Kardon audio.
This is exactly why we wanted to build a 5500.
One truck. Big van. Boat. Full touring setup. No compromises.
