This SR20 experienced a timing chain failure that caused extensive damage — four bent valves, broken chain guides, a cracked oil pump housing, cracked valve guides, and a damaged timing gear. All faulty components have been replaced, the engine has been cleaned, re-timed and resealed now it’s ready for many more years of abuse. 💪

Another F80 M3 safe from crank hub slip. Preventative maintenance carried out with a 4-pin crank hub kit and a few added upgrades from MODE, including new charge pipes and intercooler. Failure of the original intercooler resulted in coolant entering the engine.
