Terrouges Equestre Equestrian Centre | Stabling and riding lessons offered to all levels of experien

Terrouges Equestre was founded in 1988 when Maureen Beyers started a humble equestrian centre on the outskirts of Pretoria in order to fulfill her passion for horses which now boasts one of the best Equestrian facilities around. All buildings and arenas are according to FEI (Federation Equestre Internationale) standards and we pride ourselves in “doing it correctly, from the very beginning”. Terrouges Equestre offers horse riding lessons in a number of disciplines, including dressage, show jumping and carriage driving. We occasionally invite outside instructors, be it from overseas to across provincial borders and present training and Graded shows, as well as seminars and clinics. Competitive as well as non-competitive riders and carriage-drivers welcome!

A little look back at our recent jumping show at Terrouges Equestre. ✨🐎

A day filled with beautiful rounds, determined riders, wonderful horses and plenty of special moments in between.

From the nerves before entering the arena to the smiles after crossing the finish — days like these are a lovely reminder of how much goes into every round, and how rewarding it is to see horse and rider grow together.

Well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to everyone who helped make the day such an enjoyable one. 🤍

A few of our favourite moments from the day…

CONGRATULATIONS, DALIAH! 🏆

We are incredibly proud to celebrate an outstanding international achievement by 15-year-old Daliah Thill, a rider from Terrouges Equestre, and “Best Friend Ever,” aka Bruno 🐎

Competing in Luxembourg, Daliah rode two FEI Junior M** tests:

🥇 1st place — FEI Junior Team Test
🥈 2nd place — FEI Junior Individual Test, missing out on first by just 0.21%.

These impressive results saw Daliah and Bruno crowned the overall winners of the Luxembourg Amateur League Gold 🏆

What an incredible achievement at just 15 years old. We are incredibly proud to see one of our Terrouges riders competing on an international stage and achieving such an outstanding result✨

Congratulations, Daliah and Bruno — what a team! 🐴🏆

🏆🇿🇦 HISTORY MADE 🇿🇦🏆

Daliah Thill and Huck Finn DB have achieved something truly extraordinary, becoming the FEI Dressage World Challenge Youth Champions 2025 and finishing the season as the No. 1 Youth combination in the world with an incredible 76.975% final score.

⭐ 70.20% Technical Score
⭐ 83.75% Quality Score
⭐ 76.975% Final Score
🥇 FEI Dressage World Challenge Youth World Champions 2025
🥉 FEI DWC Rising Stars Team Competition — Team South Africa Bronze

For South Africa, this achievement is particularly significant.

For the first time since the FEI Dressage World Challenge Youth global rankings were introduced in 2011, a rider representing South Africa has finished the season ranked No. 1 in the world. 🇿🇦

And what makes this achievement even more special is the horse beside her.

Huck Finn DB was born, bred and trained in South Africa by De Bruyn Stud. 🇿🇦🐴

A South African rider and a South African-bred, home-trained horse have risen to the very top of an international competition — making this a truly special moment for South African dressage and equestrian sport.

This achievement is the result of years of dedication, hard work and countless hours in the saddle, supported by an incredible team, coaches, family and supporters.

Daliah and Huck Finn DB have made history, and we could not be prouder to see them representing South Africa on the world stage.

🥇 Youth World Champion 2025
🌍 World No. 1 Youth Combination
🥉 Team South Africa Bronze Medallist
🇿🇦 First South African World No. 1 since 2011

A truly remarkable achievement for Daliah, Huck Finn DB and South African dressage. 🇿🇦
