IT’S DONE. THE 48V LAND CRUISER 79 IS READY!

What an incredible journey this has been.

We’re incredibly proud to have completed what we believe to be the first 48V system installation in a Land Cruiser 79 in South Africa.

A huge thank you to Egon Australia, the Trekara team and especially Heiner for being here with us, sharing your knowledge, expertise and experience throughout this installation.

Having you here at Adventure Direct for a project like this has been an absolute privilege. We’re truly grateful for the opportunity to learn, collaborate and be part of something so innovative.

This wasn’t just another installation.
It was a milestone.

To everyone who followed the build from Day 1 — thank you for coming along for the journey.

DAY 3 — THIS IS GETTING SERIOUS!

The Land Cruiser 79 48V build is coming together, and every day we’re getting closer to seeing the full system come alive.

DAY 2 — THE 48V BUILD IS TAKING SHAPE!

Yesterday we introduced you to something pretty special… today, the work continues.

The Land Cruiser 79 48V system is coming together, with Heiner from Egon Australia here to assist with this groundbreaking installation.

This isn’t just another build — we’re pushing into new territory for the South African 4x4 scene.

Every connection, every component and every detail matters.

And trust us… you’re going to want to see the finished result.
