This customer came to us for a CPI Performance tune after previously running a JB4, with the ECU locked.

We carried out the ECU unlock and flashed our bespoke CPI Performance Stage 2 ECU + TCU software, followed by extensive refinement, dyno testing and road logs to ensure everything was performing as it should. 💻📈

The result? We can confidently say we're among the first in South Africa to get these platforms into the 12-second bracket on the stock turbo! 🏁

The hardware package? Simple:

No big turbo conversion. Just the right hardware, custom calibration and proper refinement. 💪

🚨 POLO GTI LIMP MODE ISSUE — DIAGNOSE BEFORE YOU REPLACE! 🔧

This Polo GTI came to us with a limp mode issue and boost regulation faults after being diagnosed at other workshops.

The customer was advised that the turbo actuator needed to be replaced. Instead of simply replacing parts, we carried out our own diagnostics and checks. 👨‍🔧

We found that the actuator was simply out of specification and required adjustment.

✅ Actuator adjusted to specification
✅ Boost regulation faults addressed
✅ Limp mode issue resolved
✅ Customer saved the cost of an unnecessary actuator replacement

This is why proper diagnostics matter. A fault code doesn’t always mean the component itself needs replacing, sometimes it’s about finding the actual cause of the problem. 🔍
