Are DeWitts C6 radiator and fan combos completely plug-and-play?
Not quite, but the installation is straightforward.

The factory fan controller is removed from the original fan shroud and mounted to the new DeWitts assembly. From there, the factory fan motor wiring is connected to the new fan kit.

Your radiator hoses do a lot of work every time you drive, and they’re easy to overlook until there’s a problem.

Take a few minutes to check for:

• Cracks or splitting
• Bulges or soft spots
• Leaks around the connections
• Hoses that feel unusually hard or brittle
• Loose or corroded clamps

A worn hose can turn into a cooling problem fast, so catching the warning signs early can save you a headache later.

When was the last time you gave your cooling system a quick inspection?

Why Do Aluminum Radiators Cool Better Than Copper?
Copper is actually a better conductor of heat than aluminum. The problem is a copper radiator is not ALL copper. The tubes and fin are copper however, they are bonded together with lead, which has horrible heat-transfer capabilities.
