For those of us blessed to spend our mornings on the water, there is something special about using a day of fishing to help make Christmas morning possible for a child in our own community.

🎄 2nd Annual Cowboys for Kids Benefit Tournament 🎄
📍 Stow-A-Way Marina | Lake Conroe
📅 Saturday, December 5, 2026
⏰ 6:40 AM–3:00 PM

Last year, because of the generosity of ConroeBass anglers, sponsors, donors, and supporters, 40 local children from financially struggling families were able to have gifts to open on Christmas morning.

For every $100 raised, a $100 Walmart gift card is presented to the child’s family so they can purchase gifts for their child. An application and vetting process is in place to help ensure every donation reaches local families who truly need it.

This is a 100% volunteer-run event. We need the support of local sponsors, donors, anglers, and businesses to make the biggest possible impact for these children.

Tournament details:

• $160 entry fee — $80 of each entry goes directly to Cowboys for Kids, with the other $80 paid back in tournament payouts.
• Optional $40 Big Bass entry — 100% paid back.
• 5-fish team event.
• For this specific charity event, boat take-off order will be determined by registration order. Register early to secure an earlier boat number while helping this cause.

We are seeking sponsors and donors to help cover event expenses. One sponsorship opportunity is covering the five tournament awards/trophies. We also welcome donated raffle items and cash donations.

Time matters. We need sponsors, cash donations, and donated auction items as soon as possible so we have time to promote and auction the items throughout October and November, as well as order the tournament awards/trophies before the event.

Great raffle-item donations include:

• Guided fishing trips
• Guided hunting trips
• Sonar classes
• Highly desirable outdoor gear or services that can be easily auctioned
• Gift cards and restaurant certificates
• Products, services, or experiences from local businesses

Every donated item and every dollar helps us reach more local children this Christmas.

Thank you to every angler, sponsor, donor, and raffle-item contributor who helped make last year special. Let’s come together again, fish for a purpose, and make an even bigger impact for local families! 🎣🎁
