NCDMV is continuing to expand online services for teen drivers to reduce the number of in-office visits.

Eligible teens can now upgrade their Level 2 Limited Provisional License directly to a regular Class C license online once they turn 18.

Existing online upgrade options for teens already include being able to upgrade from a Level 2 to a Level 3 Provisional License and Level 3 License to a regular Class C license online.
