Today, on National Farmers Day, we recognize the hardworking farmers who help feed, support, and strengthen our communities.

Their work begins early, ends late, and continues through changing weather and every season of the year. We appreciate the dedication it takes to keep farms, families, and communities moving forward.

Help us celebrate by leaving a message of appreciation, or tag a farmer in your community you would like to thank!

Meet Jerry Giles, one of the 50 Faces of Colony Tire!

Jerry joined Colony Tire at the Williamston location in 2010 as a Counter Salesperson and later had the opportunity to become Assistant Manager.

Over the years, Jerry has enjoyed helping customers with all of their automotive needs, but the relationships built along the way have meant even more. Many customers have become like family to him, and he feels the same way about the people he works alongside every day.

For Jerry, that is what makes Colony Tire special. It is more than a place to work—it is a place where relationships matter, people support one another, and everyone can truly feel like part of a family.

Thank you, Jerry, for being part of the Colony Tire story!

Fall drives should come with colorful views, not questions about your brakes.

Watch for signs that your braking system may need attention:
• Squealing or grinding sounds
• A soft or vibrating brake pedal
• Pulling to one side
• A brake warning light
• Longer stopping distance

Have you ever noticed one of these warning signs?

Tell us which one caught your attention first.

October is Fall Car Care Month, and shorter days make your vehicle’s lights especially important.

Take a few minutes to check your headlights, brake lights, turn signals, and hazard lights. Having someone help you complete a quick walk-around can make it easier to spot a bulb that is not working properly.

Have you ever discovered a burned-out bulb because another driver told you?

Let us know below!

Today is World Smile Day, and sometimes a little courtesy on the road is all it takes to brighten someone’s day.

Letting another driver merge, giving a friendly wave, leaving extra space, or showing patience in traffic can help make the road better for everyone.

What is one kind or courteous thing another driver has done that made you smile?

Share it below!

🌧️ The storm has passed, but is your vehicle ready for the next drive?

After rough weather, take a moment to look over your vehicle before getting back on the road. Tire condition, brakes, lights and wipers, and any new noises or warning lights can all be worth paying attention to.

And remember: never drive through floodwater when you cannot tell how deep it is.

What's the first thing you check after a rough-weather drive?

Today, on National POW/MIA Recognition Day, we honor former prisoners of war and remember the service members who remain missing in action.

We also recognize the families who have carried their memory and waited for answers.

You are not forgotten.

Ben started with the company as the Director of Credit Services in 2003 and still holds that position with Colony Tire today.

At Colony, relationships drive everything. Customers know they’re part of a legacy built on trust.
