A special THANK YOU to Mr. Turner!

Mr. Turner trusted us with his beautiful Ford Maverick to repair some collision damage—but that’s not where the story ends.

We’re human, and sometimes we make mistakes.

On Mr. Turner’s truck, we missed the mark in an area we’re normally extremely strong in: color matching.

This particular color gave us a challenge that got the best of us. It wasn’t obvious at first. In fact, when Mr. Turner brought the truck back and told us the color wasn’t quite right, we initially couldn’t see what he was seeing.

But Mr. Turner has an artist’s eye, and he knew something was off.

Under the right lighting, we finally saw exactly what he saw.

This color is a tri-stage paint, meaning one of the final layers contains a red pearl. That pearl can completely change how the color looks depending on the lighting and viewing angle. Once we got it under the right conditions, there was a clear difference between the panels we refinished and the original factory finish.

So we did what we believe a good shop should do when it makes a mistake:

We owned it and fixed it.

And through the entire process, Mr. Turner was unbelievably gracious and patient with our team.

Mr. Turner, our hats are off to you—not only for that incredible eye, but for giving us the opportunity to make it right.
