Now that both cars are in for the winter, it’s time to do those little projects that are constantly being put off. Like rebuilding the differential on the GT. Which I will do once I’m able to get the Left axle out. Put new axle bearings in 5 years ago but never got around to doing a new crush sleeve so I’ve started the job. Hope to finish over the holidays.

Finally, the process of replacing the GT engine has begun. With all the plans to accomplish while it's out, it's should take about a month to get it back in, all refreshed. Still going basically stock, with minor overbore, Isky cam, balances, etc and engine well repaint.

I've started on the GT engine rebuild. Head was sent to OGTS and is now back and ready, just need to put the block together. D. A. Clem Machine Shop in Wichita did the clean up work, and bored it out, balanced it, and mounted the pistons on the rods. Now I get to assemble it all. Tonight I plan on pulling the old engine out of the GT so I can reuse the aluminum oil pan and some of the bolts that are unique to Opels.

Working with Dean on his GT. Needed an upgrade to the electrical system so he installed an additional hot buss fuse panel and cleaned up some wires a bit. Great job Dean.
